Aged 44, a teacher from the Léo-Larguier college in La Grand-Combe (Gard) was taken into police custody this Tuesday for corruption of a minor and sexual assault on a student of the establishment aged 14 , Le Parisien learned this Thursday from the Alès public prosecutor's office, confirming information published Wednesday by Midi Libre.
The Alès public prosecutor's office then contacted the judge of freedoms and detention (JLD) so that the teacher could be placed under judicial supervision. The latter, whose relationship with this student allegedly began last January, must appear before the Alès criminal court on May 3.
A confession to a friend
The facts were reported to the Alès public prosecutor's office after the teenager confessed to a friend on Friday March 29. The latter then informs the establishment nurse who notifies the authorities the same day. According to the public prosecutor of Alès, Abdelkrim Grini, contacted by Le Parisien, letters written by the professor were found. He spoke of his “desire to have children” and to “take trips” with the teenager.

The man also allegedly caressed the teenager's buttocks, tried to kiss her and showed up at her home, which prompted the young girl to talk about it. “The facts begin at the end of January. We were not aware of anything until March 29 and neither were the parents,” confirms Abdelkrim Grini. It was on this date that the facts were reported to the Alès public prosecutor's office after the teenager's confessions.
