Audrey Mondjehi, the main accused in the trial for the Strasbourg Christmas market attack in 2018, was sentenced this Thursday evening to 30 years in prison. A verdict which corresponds to the requisitions set out this Tuesday.
Although he claims to be "deaf, blind, mute and amnesiac", the 42-year-old accused was the "more than zealous intermediary" of the jihadist claiming to be from the Islamic State group Chérif Chekatt, whose attack killed 5 dead and 11 injured on December 11, 2018, castigated the national anti-terrorism prosecutor's office (Pnat) before the specially composed Paris Assize Court.
Audrey Mondjehi admitted to having helped him obtain weapons. He was on trial for complicity in assassinations and attempted assassinations in connection with a terrorist enterprise.
