On Tuesday April 2, Wilfried, a 36-year-old mechanic, was kept behind bars after his appearance before the judge of freedoms and detention (JLD) of Paris.
Eighteen months ago, the thirty-year-old was imprisoned and indicted by a judge of the specialized interregional jurisdiction (Jirs), along with eight other suspects, for “maintaining and accessing an automated data processing system
( STAD)
and organized gang theft.” This IT solution, called UCO, allowed teams of thugs to steal hundreds of Peugeots in the Paris region and throughout France, and above all to amass loot estimated at 2.7 million euros.
