Excellent start to the season for Leonardo Arduini in the 2024 Clio Cup Europe, thanks to the weekend as a protagonist on the Nogaro circuit, in which the rain forced the race direction to interrupt race 2. The standard bearer of the Motortecnica team, supported by Bodega and HRX, came close to reaching the absolute Top 10 twice in both races, taking 2 podiums in the European Junior classification, following the sixth overall position in race 1 and the eighth in race 2.
"It was a decidedly tough weekend but I'm very happy with it that we brought home - declared Arduini - we have never done two sessions with the same conditions and learning a very technical track like Nogaro in these conditions was a difficult undertaking". The young Milanese driver, at his first time in the European Clio Cup series, following the French event, finds himself in ninth position in the championship, occupying second place in the special ranking reserved for young talents and is already ready for the next stage which it will take place in Portimao, Portugal.
