Volkswagen opens orders in Italy for the new 204 HP and 272 HP plug-in Passat eHybrids, which promise an electric range of up to 133 km in the WLTP cycle, and offer fast charging at 50 kW in direct current.


    There are three trim levels available, called Passat, Business and R-Line, with a price list starting from 54,700 euros, while the start of deliveries at the brand's dealers is scheduled for the summer.


    The car sports a completely revised design and is the most spacious Passat of all time, due to the wheelbase being 50 mm longer than the previous model, and has a boot capacity of between 510 and 1,770 litres.


    The interior features a display for the multimedia system with a 12.9-inch screen, also available on request in a 15-inch size, while the latest generation MIB4 infotainment shares the menu structure and graphic design with the most recent models ID. On a dynamic level, the new car from Wolfsburg can count on the new DCC Pro adaptive chassis control, standard for the R-Line setup. Furthermore, the ergoActive seats with a new pneumatic pressure point massage function promote comfort on long journeys. The 204 HP version develops a system torque of 350 Nm, while on the 272 HP version the Nm becomes 400, with the new 1.5 TSI engine which, on the most powerful Passat eHybrid, goes from 150 HP to 177 HP.


    Already from the entry level, Passat eHybrid includes complete standard equipment, which includes accessories such as 17-inch alloy wheels, LED front and rear lights, 2-zone automatic climate control, Keyless keyless starting. Go, 10.25-inch digital instrumentation, 12.9-inch infotainment display, wireless App-Connect smartphone connectivity, USB-C ports with 45W fast charging capability, front parking sensors and rear, the rear view camera, the leather-covered multifunction steering wheel with DSG gear shift paddles, the charging cable with domestic socket, and the 16A Mode 3 Type 2 charging cable, as well as a large array of driving aids, including adaptive cruise control. .
