The range of electric cars continues to grow. The ADAC price-performance check helps with the decision. One segment performs particularly poorly.
The current situation for electric cars is difficult. After the unexpected cancellation of the environmental bonus in December, sales of electric vehicles recorded a significant decline in January and February. Things picked up at least a little in March. Car dealers are still not very confident about the future for the rest of 2024. Customers who decide on an electric vehicle are faced with the question: Which model will give me the most for my money?
The ADAC
provides the answer to this question
. The automobile club regularly puts the latest electric cars through their paces. The quality and costs are evaluated. Purchase, maintenance and loss of value, among other things, play a role here. Both factors ultimately result in a grade for the price-performance ratio.
Fiat 500 dominates among small cars
When it comes to small cars, the picture is very clear. Only one model made it onto the podium in this category: the Fiat 500e. According to the
ADAC,
the convertible in the Icon version with the 42 kWh battery
performs best .
The automobile club gives the electric car a 2.1.
However, the gap between the two pursuers is small. With a grade of 2.2, the Fiat 500e with a 23.8 kWh battery and RED equipment is close on the convertible's heels. The La Prima with the large battery gets
a grade of 2.3 from the
ADAC .
