In her usual morning report, the Secretary of Access to Health,

Carla Vizzotti,

said that "the situation is the same as in recent weeks" and pointed out the "

tension

" and "

stress

" suffered by the health system and the staff attending the pandemic.

The official referred to the meeting that hours before President Alberto Fernández and Minister Ginés González García had with health professionals, from doctors to nurses, orderlies, physical therapists and cleaning and administrative personnel.

Vizzotti called the "commitment" transmitted by health workers during the meeting "exciting", adding that they explained "what is happening now, the tension and stress that this workload generates."

According to the official, health professionals, after stating that "their commitment is unwavering" despite the "fear" of infections from their colleagues and relatives, insisted on the need to prevent a further spread of the virus.

"(They) need us to take care of ourselves, even if it is difficult.

We need to redouble our efforts

, become a shield of protection and not a chain of transmission," he said.
