Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad described the American crime of assassinating the commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, General Qassem Soleimani, as an "immoral act".
Reuters quoted Mahathir as telling reporters today that "targeting Soleimani with a US air strike carried out by a drone is contrary to international law," stressing that "it is time for Islamic countries to unite to protect themselves from external threats."
Mahathir pointed out that this process "may also lead to an increase in what is called American terrorism."
