The Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior indicated that all roads in the governorates are impassable except for several roads in Lattakia and As-Suwayda governorates that are impassable due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The Traffic Department indicated in its bulletin today that all roads in Lattakia Governorate are passable except for the Um Al-Tuyour sub-road leading to the seashore that is impassable due to a collapse in the retaining concrete wall and landslides down the road in front of Shaheen Chalets.
All roads in As-Suwayda governorate are clear, except for the Shahba Namira or Dhebib road, Ghidat Nimri is impassable due to the formation of ice.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to use lights for fog, check brakes, reduce speed at corners, slopes, road junctions and drive with caution in order to avoid accidents, noting that they allocated numbers 5422703 and 5411365 to inquire about road conditions.
