Dozens of protesters gathered today in Al-Shuhada Square in the center of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, as part of a series of sit-ins taking place in a number of Lebanese regions to demand an improvement in the living situation and the abolition of some taxes.

The Lebanese National Media Agency reported that the protesters at the Elia intersection in Saida city had partially closed the traffic and organized a protest march against the high prices and high prices, and a confirmation of the steadfastness in the squares in the face of corruption, amid intense security measures.

In pictures, the protesters in Al-Elm organized a protest, interspersed by candlelight and a minute of silence, and confirmed their continued movement until all the demands were met.

Protesters also staged a sit-in on Gemayzat Street in Tripoli, northern Lebanon, while the Lebanese army imposed security measures to maintain security and stability in the city.

Since October 17, Lebanon has witnessed demonstrations and protest actions calling for improving the living conditions, fighting corruption and holding the corrupt accountable.
