After registering the first death in the country due to coronavirus, the Buenos Aires Minister of Health, Fernán Quirós, recommended that people returning to Argentina after a trip to a European country stay in their homes for 14 days : "Do not go to work, do not join friends or go to places where there are many people, "said the official.

Quirós warned, in dialogue with Miter radio, that "our real risk is people who come from European countries and do not comply with this recommendation."

Faced with this, he asked that "people return to travel have appropriate civic behavior."

He also said that the risk of contracting coronavirus attending a clinic where there was a case, "is zero" because - he insisted - "the real risk is people who come from European countries" where there is virus circulation.

On the other hand, he said that the person killed in the City of Coronavirus was "the only serious case" pending confirmation results, and so far "all confirmed cases have a mild picture."

However, "if tomorrow if a person with comorbidity and old age becomes ill, of course he could potentially die."

"Today there is no viral circulation to Argentina, so the risk of getting you going anywhere, including a medical center where there has been a case, is zero," said the official in a dialogue with Miter radio.

"When you come from a European country, for 14 days stay at home, do not go to work, do not join friends , do not go to places where there are many people; and if you make a fever, call 107 immediately," he said.

Therefore, at this time "appropriate civic behavior" is "the most significant measure that society can take to contain this potential distribution" of the virus in the country.

"This disease depends on the health systems to respond in a timely manner and on the fact that each community assumes its share of responsibility, because it is a disease it has to have a comprehensive social approach," he said.

He added: "We are all friends or relatives of someone who is traveling and therefore we all have something to do so that people who come on a trip have the behavior they have to have."

Quiros explained that Covid 2019 has the "peculiarity" that "it is distributed to society by young people, who consider that they have no risk and that nothing will happen to it," but "it is suffered by older adults with comorbid disease"
