Coronavirus: 1,150 additional deaths in 24 hours in the United States

The United States, which has exceeded 10,000 deaths from the new coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, has recorded an additional 1,150 deaths in 24 hours, according to the count at 8:30 p.m. Monday evening at Johns Hopkins University.

The country officially counts more than 366,000 cases of infection (almost 30,000 additional cases in 24 hours) and deplores 10,783 deaths in total, according to this continuously updated database.

The United States is by far the country with the most officially reported Covid-19 cases by far. The number of deaths caused by the disease in the country has been increasing for several days by more than 1,000 deaths daily, thus gradually approaching the record deplored in Italy (16,523 dead) and Spain (13,005).
