A forty-something man was killed with a cold weapon Sunday morning in Mirmande (Drôme) and two people were placed in police custody.
The victim, born in 1978, was discovered deceased by the gendarmes and the emergency services when they arrived on the scene. They were warned by the alleged attacker, born in 1979, according to radio France Bleu who reported the information with the regional daily Le Dauphiné Libéré .
The weapon used is of cut-cut or machete type, according to the Office of the Public Prosecutor of Valence.
The suspect was taken into custody on the premises of the Crest Research Brigade and a woman who was apparently present at the time of the events was arrested in the morning.
The victim and the aggressor lived in a shared flat in a house in a hamlet of Mirmande. The facts would have occurred around 6:00 am and against the background of alcohol consumption, according to the first elements of the investigation.
