Spain has registered 19,478 deaths from Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday.
585 deaths were recorded in 24 hours, said the ministry whose methodology has changed in order to standardize the figures sent by the different regions, which led to a change in figures from previous days. This assessment, which includes only those tested positive, is disputed by several regions which claim that thousands more people died from the disease.
