(ANSA) - MILAN, JULY 15 - The Assize Court of Milan sentenced Ousseynou Sy, the 47-year-old who in March of last year, hijacked and set on fire in San Donato a bus with a school of 50 children , two teachers and a janitor of Crema, all rescued by carabinieri.
The judges accepted the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, also that of redeveloping the hypothesis of a crime from kidnapping for terrorist purposes'. In court, before the conviction, Sy said he had had "only the purpose of saving human lives, because he could not take any more" of the dead at sea.
