Iran records 161 deaths and 2,245 new cases of coronavirus

Iran today announced that 161 deaths and 2,245 new cases of coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.

A spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Sima Sadat Lari, said that the total number of injuries in Iran has reached 341,70 until today, while the total number of deaths reached 19,492 and the recovered 295,630 people.

In the Sultanate of Oman, 181 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total to 83,000 cases, while five deaths were recorded, bringing the total deaths to 562 deaths.

In the UAE, 283 new injuries were recorded, bringing the total to 64,000, while two deaths were recorded, bringing the total deaths to 361.

As for Indonesia, 2,345 new cases of coronavirus were recorded, bringing the total number of infections to 137,468, while 50 deaths were recorded, bringing the death toll to 6,071.

In the Philippines, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 4,351 new injuries and 159 deaths, bringing the total number of injured to 157,918 and 2,600 deaths.
