Summary :
The life of Joe Biden, 77, has been marked by several tragedies.
His first wife, Neilia, and his 13-month-old daughter were killed in a traffic accident in December 1972. In 2015, his eldest son, Beau Biden, died of brain cancer.
This mourning prevents him from running for the 2016 presidential election.
The former Vice President of the United States under Barack Obama finally entered the race for the White House in the spring of 2019, before winning the Democratic primary in June.
Today, his political family hopes him capable of defeating Donald Trump on November 3.
