The Spanish health authorities announced 34 new deaths, in addition to 4,410 people being infected with the new Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The newspaper "La Vanguardia" quoted the Spanish Ministry of Health as saying that the confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Spain amounted to 543,379 cases.
The ministry added that 40 percent of new infections were recorded in Madrid, equivalent to 1728 new injuries, while the total deaths reached 29,628 deaths, after 34 new deaths were recorded since yesterday and 246 during the past seven days.
