With great enthusiasm, the Syrian men's soccer team continues the local training camp in Damascus, as part of its preparations for the resumption of the Asian double qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the Asian Cup finals in China 2023.

The camp, which is being held under the supervision of Tunisian coach Nabil Maaloul in Al-Fayhaa Sports City and continues until next Monday, has witnessed during the past three days a series of group exercises and some individual skill exercises in addition to focusing on tactical sentences and passing

The list of our team in this camp included Ibrahim Alama, Taha Musa, Ahmed Madaniyeh, Shaker Al Shaker, Ahmed Al Saleh, Youssef Hamwi, Hussein Jaweed, Khaled Kardaugli, Muayad Ajjan, Youssef Muhammad, Faris Arnaout, Abdul Razzaq Muhammad, Mahmoud Al Mawas, Omar Khribeen, Thaer Karuma, Ahmed Al Ashkar, Muhammad Anz, Kamel Hammisha, Maher Daaboul Rihaniyeh, Muhammad Marmur, Ward al-Salama, Muhammad al-Malta, Kamel Kawa, Mardik Mardikan, Abd al-Rahman Barakat and Alaa al-Dali.

The team's training staff includes Maher Bayraktar as a goalkeeper, Rabih Salloum, a fitness trainer, and Khaldoun Al-Magdid as a media coordinator.

The International and Asian Football Confederation had decided to postpone the joint Asian qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup finals, which were scheduled for last March and June, to next year due to the Corona pandemic.
