Authorities in Puerto Rico are investigating the murder of Nashaly Torres, 22, in Villalba.
According to the statistics of the island's police, at least 32 women have been murdered in 2020. Organizations against violence against women and other voices such as that of the Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin have asked the Government to declare a state of emergency for violence against women.
