Ten Armenian opposition figures were arrested Thursday (November 12th) for their alleged role in violent protests denouncing the signing by the Prime Minister of an agreement consecrating Azerbaijan's victory in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Opponents, including leaders of the Armenia Prosper and Dachnaktsoutioun formations, were arrested, according to the Public Prosecutor's Office, for "
illegal organization of violent mass disturbances
".
During the night of Monday to Tuesday, the seat of government and the Parliament had been invaded and partially ransacked.
