According to the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Association of Children's Hospitals, the infections of coronavirus among the smallest of the house have suffered a vertiginous increase in recent weeks.
And although the disease usually causes mild symptoms in children, it is not yet known for sure what the long-term effects would be.
