Honduran authorities asked the population of the Villanueva municipality to evacuate the area due to the risk of another flood with the arrival of storm Iota, which, according to the US National Hurricane Center (NHC, for its acronym in English) , has a high probability of making landfall as a hurricane.
The inhabitants of the area have not yet assimilated the loss of their homes due to the rains and winds caused by Hurricane Eta a few days ago.
