Macron chooses MP Laure de La Raudière as head of the Telecoms Regulatory Authority

The president of Arcep is appointed by the President of the Republic on the proposal of the Prime Minister.

Emmanuel Macron chose the Member of Parliament for Eure-et-Loire (Agir) Laure de La Raudière to head the Telecoms Regulatory Authority (Arcep), succeeding Sébastien Soriano, whose mandate ended in early January, has indicated Tuesday the Elysee in a press release

"The President of the Republic plans, on a proposal from the Prime Minister, to appoint Ms. Laure de La Raudière as president of the regulatory authority for electronic communications, posts and press distribution (Arcep)"
