The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded 86,982 cases and 2724 new deaths from the Coronavirus during the last 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in a statement, “The death toll from recorded infections with the Coronavirus has increased in the country during the past 24 hours, 86,982 cases, bringing the total number to 11780820.
Brazil recorded the second largest death toll from the virus in the world after the United States and the third highest number of infections after the United States and India.
