Union Pacific Company teams prepare to remove the cars from a derailed train in the US state of Iowa, which caused a fire and prompted evacuations.
A company spokesman said that the causes of what happened are being investigated, and an email to CNN indicated that it is known that "the impacted cars were carrying hydrochloric acid, potassium hydroxide and asphalt."
The train crew was not injured.
