The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 1,454 new deaths from the Corona virus during the last 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying that 37,936 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total number of infections to 16.84 million, while the total deaths reached 470,842 cases.
Brazil is currently ranked third in the world in terms of the total number of coronavirus infections after the United States and India, in addition to recording the second largest death toll in the world after the United States.
