The Italian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 2,275 new infections and 51 deaths from the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the ministry as saying in a statement today that the total number of infections in the country has reached 4,232,428 since the outbreak of the epidemic, while the total deaths amounted to 126,523 cases.
Italy ranks eighth in the list of countries affected by the Corona virus, after the United States, India, Brazil, France, Turkey, Russia and Britain.
