(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 16 - At least five people would have died at the Kabul airport, perhaps overwhelmed by the crowd, according to eyewitnesses quoted by some media, including the British Independent, who say that the bodies have been taken away.
The Independent also shows a video shot from a cell phone that shows the crowd fleeing in panic at the sound of the odd, including a barrage of machine guns, presumably shot in the air by the US military, who have taken control of the airport. The video was shot last night.
