Faced with many positive cases of Covid-19, the meeting between Northerners and Bretons has been postponed.

The Lille-Lorient match, initially scheduled for Saturday for the 20th day of Ligue 1, was postponed due to the numerous Covid-19 contaminations detected in the Lorient workforce, the Professional Football League (LFP) announced on Thursday.

The Lorient club, which counted 12 positive cases in its workforce on Wednesday, had requested the postponement of its meeting scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m., and whose rescheduling date remains to be defined.

This is the second match of the 20th day postponed due to Covid-19 after Angers - Saint-Etienne, rescheduled for January 26.
