Russian Foreign Minister Russia is committed to working to prevent a nuclear war that ever begins, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with Italian television on Sunday.
"The Western media presents a false representation of Russian threats," Lavrov said, speaking in Russian through an Italian translator.
"Russia has never cut short its efforts to reach agreements that guarantee that a nuclear war will never develop," he said.
