Terrible outcome in the first semi-final of Roland-Garros.

While Alexander Zverev delivered a fantastic duel to Rafael Nadal, the German, on the first point of the decisive game in the second set, fell heavily to the ground at the end of the race.

His cries of pain and his tears said a lot about the sprained right ankle he had just suffered.

Immediately by his side, Nadal could not savor his victory (7-6, 6-6) after a match that lasted three hours.

In the final, the Spaniard will face either Casper Ruud or Marin Cilic, to claim a 14th Porte d'Auteuil title on Sunday.
