The Xinhua news agency quoted the head of the provincial health department, Najibullah Sahel, as saying today: Three people were injured in an explosion in Kunduz, the provincial capital, and were taken to hospital for treatment.
A resident of the area pointed out that a bomb exploded outside an exchange market during the morning rush hour, causing casualties.
At least four people were killed yesterday in a terrorist bombing targeting a minibus east of the capital, Kabul.
