Two people were killed and five others were wounded when an explosive device exploded in the eastern Afghan province of Kunar today.
Xinhua news agency quoted provincial police chief Abdul Haq Haqqani as saying that an explosive device was planted on the side of the road targeting a security car in Asadabad, the capital of Kunar province, injuring five security personnel, while eyewitnesses confirmed the killing of two people in the explosion.
And three people were wounded when an explosive device exploded near an exchange market in Kunduz province, northern Afghanistan, earlier today.
