Ivana Trump, Donald Trump's first wife, is dead. "I am very saddened to announce to everyone who loved her, and they are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City," the former wrote US President in a post on the Truth Social platform.
"She was a wonderful, beautiful and incredible woman who lived a great and inspiring life," Trump continued.
“Her pride and joy were her three children Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric.
She was as proud of her as we were all so proud of her.
Rest in peace, Ivana!«
Ivana and Donald Trump married in 1977.
According to Ivana, actress Marla Maples is said to have been the reason for the divorce.
Maples and Trump married in 1993. The marriage lasted six years.
The two have a daughter, Tiffany.
Ivana Trump said of Maples in 2017: »She has no class«.
Maples had previously performed on the American dance show Dancing with the Stars.
Then, in 2018, Ivana Trump herself took part in the Italian version of the show.
Donald Trump has been married to model Melania Trump since 2005, who was First Lady when he was President.
Their son's name is Barron.
