There are 18,813 new infections from Covid recorded in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
On Sunday 31 July the infected were 36,966.
The victims are 121, up from 83 on Sunday.
The rate is at 17.8%, down slightly from Sunday when it was 18%.
A total of 105,839 swabs were performed, including antigenic and molecular.
On the other hand, 398 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 10 more on Sunday, while the daily admissions are 36. The hospitalized in the ordinary wards are instead 10,527, compared to Sunday 28 more.
Coronavirus positive Italians are currently 1,254,753, or 21,730 fewer than on Sunday.
In total, 21,059,545 have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the dead have risen to 172,207.
The discharged and healed are 19,632,585 with an increase of 41,129
