One of the great changes in the United Kingdom after the death of Queen Elizabeth II will be the currency, at least as far as its image is concerned.
According to the Bank of England, there are billions of sterling notes and coins bearing the image of the queen that will gradually be replaced by the image of the new king, Charles III.
During the long reign of Elizabeth II, her image was updated so that she maintained a correspondence with her age.
