He then signed two papers to confirm that his oath was taken.

Prince William and Queen Consort, Camilla, also signed these documents as witnesses.

At noon, French time, the proclamation will be formalized on the balcony of Saint-James Palace, but also in Trafalgar Square and then at the Royal Exchange.

Shots in Hyde Park and the Tower of London will be fired.
