Two people opened fire on Russian military ground in the Belgorod region, killing at least eleven people and wounding fifteen.

At least 11 people died on Saturday and 15 others were injured in a shootout at a Russian military compound in the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry said, calling the incident "attack".

In a statement, quoted by Russian news agencies, the ministry said that "two citizens" from the former USSR opened fire with automatic weapons during an exercise.
