Another novelty concerns the automatic deactivation of the most numerous group chats, which always generate many notifications for users' smartphones.
As identified in version 2.22.23.9 for Android, the application, without any manual intervention, automatically silences groups with a high number of participants, still allowing to restore notifications at the discretion of each subscriber.

WhatsApp had extended the limit of groups up to 512 participants taking it, two weeks ago, to 1024 even if only in test mode, for some users.
