An ammonia leak occurred this morning (Monday) at a factory in the industrial zone in Kiryat Shmona.
According to North District Fire and Rescue, at 8:20 a.m. a message was received at the 102 hotline about an ammonia leak at a plant in the southern industrial zone in Kiryat Shmona.
Five fire crews from the Galil-Golan station and a hazardous materials handling unit rushed to the scene.
The fire fighting teams are currently at the scene assessing the situation together with the factory personnel.
