Arabic social networks have been in an uproar since last night (Monday) following an incident that was caught on camera at the climate conference in Sharm el-Sheikh.
In one of the group photos of the leaders, President Yitzhak Herzog and Tunisian Prime Minister Najla Boden Ramadan were caught having what appeared to be small talk.
The gesture provoked sharp criticism of the Prime Minister who took office about a year ago after the appointment of Tunisian President Case Saidi.
Ramadan is considered a confidant of the president because her appointment came after the parliament was frozen and the government was dissolved.
Part of the criticism she received for her appointment was that she was unable to be independent because she lacked political power.
A conversation that caused a storm:

Arab surfers wrote on the Twitter network that this is a "direct normalization between Tunisia and Israel".
According to them, "Tunisian Prime Minister Boden had a conversation with Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog during a group photo of the leaders of the countries participating in the climate conference being held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. Will Case Said consider this a high-level betrayal?"
"He will consider this as treason" Case Said, photo: AP
It should be noted that Said himself is subject to severe criticism from the opposition in the country due to the freezing of the parliament and its dissolution, and the dismissal of the government ministers about a year ago.
Last July, the president passed a constitution in a referendum with a voting rate of only 25%, which gives him extensive and superior powers over the parliament and the judiciary.
Elections will soon be held in Tunisia with restrictions on running that may make it difficult for women to run in the elections, which will reduce their representation in the parliament.
