Bayern Munich announced the injury of Senegalese star Sadio Mane against Werder Bremen yesterday, 11 days before the start of the 2022 World Cup.
The Bavarian club said in a statement on its official website that Mane had an injury to the right leg tendon, and he will miss the match against Schalke in the German Bundesliga.
Senegal is competing in the World Cup in Group A along with the Netherlands, Qatar and Ecuador.
