The fault of the bill is not to want to make the French work longer, all people in good faith know that we have no choice. The real injustice lies elsewhere.

Finally.

After twenty days of mess in the National Assembly, during which we glimpsed the almost factious violence of which La France insoumise was capable, the pension bill arrived in the Senate.

And the demagoguery will perhaps give way to a real debate.

The main defect of this reform

is not to want to make the French work longer, all people in good faith know that we have no choice.

The real injustice, completely concealed in the Assembly, is the difference in treatment that will continue between private and public employees.

The latter will continue to benefit from a much more favorable method of calculating their retirement (over the last six months of activity versus the best twenty-five years in the private sector).
