A 61-year-old woman was found dead on Wednesday morning, her feet tied, at the bottom of the stairs in a building in Le Mans where she did not live, we learned Wednesday evening from a police source.
The woman, who bore traces of blows on her body, was discovered around 4 a.m., the same source said, confirming information from RTL.

The judicial police were in charge of the investigation.
Asked by AFP at the start of the evening on this case, the Le Mans prosecutor's office had not responded by the end of the day.
