The facts took place around 4:30 p.m., in Les Sablons.

A snack was organized by the neighborhood crèche.

According to the first testimonies collected by the police, the child left the nursery and was then knocked down by a metallic gray car.

The driver is “

a man of African origin with dreadlocks, 30 to 40 years old and perhaps with a child on board

”, specifies our police source.

He then allegedly fled without worrying about the victim's state of health.

She was in cardiopulmonary arrest when emergency services arrived.

He died before being treated by the Le Mans hospital center.

“We are fed up with this violence!”

An investigation has since been opened to shed light on the exact circumstances of the accident.
