He is one of the pioneers of Paris' bid to host the Olympic Games in 2024. Bernard Thibault, former number 1 of the CGT (1999-2013) who holds the position of co-president of the monitoring committee of the Paris 2024 social charter, and represents the five French unions, is working to impose a label of good conduct on companies involved in the organization of the Olympics (26 July - 11 August 2024).
