He is one of the pioneers of Paris' bid to host the Olympic Games in 2024. Bernard Thibault, former number 1 of the CGT (1999-2013) who holds the position of co-president of the monitoring committee of the Paris 2024 social charter, and represents the five French unions, is working to impose a label of good conduct on companies involved in the organization of the Olympics (26 July - 11 August 2024). "It's never been done before!" insists Thibault, hoping that the next organizers will be inspired. Site safety, respect for labour law, conflict prevention... There is no shortage of tasks.
