July-August heat: The weather today (Monday) will be quite scorching and the "Cleon" heat wave will continue to prevail throughout the country. The coastal plain is expected to be particularly humid.

For example, in Tel Aviv, temperatures will soar above 30 degrees Celsius and humidity rates will range from 61 per cent in the afternoon to 89 per cent in the evening. In Jerusalem, temperatures will reach 36 degrees Celsius by midday, with humidity ranging from 21% to 61%. Temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius are expected in Beersheba and 33 degrees Celsius in Haifa. In most parts of the country extreme heat loads will prevail, so it is recommended to drink plenty of water and take sun protection measures.

According to the Meta Tech Center, tomorrow the severe heat wave will reach its peak. The weather will be scorching in the mountains and inland, and steamy on the coast. High temperatures will continue to prevail into Wednesday with no noticeable change.
Meanwhile, in the Mediterranean Sea, no waves of jellyfish or swarms of jellyfish were observed in the water, only a few individuals. Waves of 60-120 centimeters are also expected.
