Fatal hit-and-run: The court today (Tuesday) extended the detention of Shlomo Levy (21), a resident of Tirat Carmel, who is suspected of running over a 45-year-old resident of the city by gunfire and fleeing the scene last Friday.

Judge Dr. Zayed Fallah extended his detention by a week, writing in his decision: "This is a tragic case in which the suspect allegedly stole a vehicle and used it to run over a pedestrian whose only desire was to safely cross the crosswalk."
